We set M&B up to bring back the kind of broker businesses used to have: someone who knows you, picks up the phone and is straight with you about what a policy actually does.
Our story
Steve Milner has spent over 20 years in insurance. His career started in Bollington, and since then he's worked all over the country, leading teams and departments at regional, national and global insurance brokers. He holds the Cert CII, the Chartered Insurance Institute's Certificate in Insurance.
Over the past few years the industry has changed. Many smaller brokers have been bought by large corporate groups, and too often the personal relationship between a broker and their clients has been lost along the way. M&B is Steve's answer: a broker that puts the customer at the heart of everything it does, with a personal touch and genuine service.
We work from Charter House in Macclesfield and look after businesses across the North West and beyond. We're an Appointed Representative of the Movo Partnership, which gives us the compliance support and insurer access of a national network while keeping the service local.

Steve has over 20 years' experience in insurance, leading teams and departments at regional, national and global brokers. He's Cert CII qualified, started his career in Bollington and lives in Macclesfield with his family.
Steve leads a small team based together in our Macclesfield office, each with over 10 years' insurance experience.

Away from work
Steve lives in Macclesfield with his family. When he's not looking after clients you'll often find him on a local golf course (keen, if not always good) or heading up the M6 to Blackpool, where he's a season ticket holder and gets to every home game.
